China and Mongolia hold award ceremony to celebrate Beijing 2022

China and Mongolia on Thursday held an online award ceremony for an arts and works competition themed “Say something at the 2022 Beijing Olympics and embrace the future.”
Minister of the International Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee Song Tao and Minister of Culture of Mongolia Nomin Chinbat delivered speeches after two young Mongolian participants expressed their high expectations and best wishes for the upcoming Winter games.
Song extended his congratulations to the winners whose outstanding works were selected from more than 230 entries, saying he could see the friendship between China and Mongolia, as well as the strong passion and blessing sent by the participants.
“As the first comprehensive sports competition held on schedule and as promised since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, Beijing 2022 enjoys the full support not only of the Chinese people, but also of countries like Mongolia and the international community. .to bring more positive energy to all to overcome the current difficulties,” Song noted.

Among the Mongolian winners, an eighth-grade middle school student said she learned more about Olympic history and winter sports through competition and was looking forward to seeing Mongolian athletes compete in the Games from Beijing.
