First Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus S. Aleinik visits Mongolia

On September 20-21, 2022, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Sergei Aleinik, visited Mongolia.
The First Deputy Foreign Minister met with the Minister of Roads and Transport Development of Mongolia, Byambatsogt Sandag. The parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the transport sector, as well as issues of interaction within the framework of the Joint Belarusian-Mongolian Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.
During the meeting with the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia, Bolorchuluun Khayangaa, the parties discussed the ongoing joint projects of Belarus and Mongolia in the field of agriculture .
During the meeting with the Chairman of the Great State Khural of Mongolia, Zandanshatar Gombojav, an exchange of views on a wide range of issues took place. Particular attention was paid to intensifying the interaction between the legislative bodies of the two countries.
On September 21, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus took part in the fifth round of Belarusian-Mongolian political consultations. The Mongolian side was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Batsumber Mukhjin.
The parties discussed the state of Belarusian-Mongolian cooperation in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres and exchanged views on topical issues on the international and regional agenda. Parties discussed issues of interaction in international organizations.
During the visit, meetings were held with representatives of Mongolian business circles interested in developing cooperation with Belarus, as well as with representatives of Belarusian companies participating in the National Exhibition of the Republic of Belarus at the Mongolian International Exhibition “Ulaanbaatar Partnership”.
