Inner Mongolia Hockey Institute signed a contract with the Education Bureau of Yuquan District, Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia in June 2022. Both sides took the opportunity to help pilot schools train floorball coaches and referees. Through systematic work, they aim to establish a stable, orderly and long-term youth training system to cultivate and select more and better sports reserve talents for Inner Mongolia.

— We have already carried out this activity in three kindergartens at the early stage, and three primary schools have also carried out this project this semester. With this signature, the Inner Mongolia Floorball Institute plans to promote it in primary and secondary schools and kindergartens in the region, said Zhang XiangHead of Sports, Health and Arts Section, Yuquan District Education Bureau, Hohhot City.

Apart from the signing ceremony, a 4-day “2022 First Stage Coach Training Class” also started on the same day. The China Hockey Association assigned professional lecturers to popularize floorball knowledge to more than 60 primary, middle and kindergarten teachers in Yuquan District, Hohhot City. They taught professional floorball skills and the rules of the game to lay the foundation for the further development of floorball in Inner Mongolia.
