Kyrgyzstan intensifies cooperation with Mongolia in all areas, including road and transport

The 4th meeting of the Mongolian-Kyrgyz Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation was held in Ulan Bator on March 28-29, Kyrgyzstan’s Transport Ministry press service reported. Tendency reports referring to Kabar.
The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Mongolian Section of the Intergovernmental Commission, Minister of Road Development and Transport Haltar Luvsan and the Chairman of the Kyrgyz Section, Minister of Transport and Communications of Kyrgyzstan Erkinbek Osoev.
During the meeting, the parties agreed to intensify cooperation in the areas of trade and economy, investment, roads and transport, agriculture, tourism, culture, science and humanitarian action within the framework of the expansion of friendly relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan.
They noted the importance of improving transport and logistics conditions to boost trade and investment, and noted that the direct flights opened this month will give strong impetus to cooperation.
Kyrgyzstan has expressed interest in supplying fruits, vegetables and clothing to Mongolia, and an agreement has been reached to strengthen cooperation in animal husbandry, agriculture and forestry.
As part of expanding local cooperation, an agreement to establish twinning relations between Ulaanbaatar and Bishkek in the near future was discussed.
This meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission between Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan was held on the eve of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
